Best guide for Holland Countryside! Vera has such a positive, happy, let’s go demeanor that it is almost contagious! She shared so much beautiful scenery of this breathtaking countryside of Holland. From the very start of our communication, Vera was quick to reply with specific details about transportation and our itinerary down to every last detail. The dahlia exposition was breathtaking and the small villages we biked through were also charming.

Smakelijke en leerzame stadswandeling in Gouda Afgelopen zaterdagmiddag hebben wij tijdens onze familiedag onder leiding van Vera een stadswandeling door Gouda gemaakt, waarbij wij veel hebben geleerd over de geschiedenis van de stad en over een variëteit aan oude ambachten, waarvan nog steeds sporen in de stad te vinden zijn en die Vera ons liet bewonderen. Tijdens de wandeling bezochten wij ook de Waag, waar Vera voor ons een heerlijke kaas/koffieproeverij had geregeld en een stroopwafelbakkerij, waar wij onszelf lieten onderwijzen in dit bijzondere ambacht. Alles bij elkaar een zeer geslaagd evenement.

Great Tour!! We had a wonderful bike tour of The Hague with Vera. She just might be the friendliest, happiest tour guide we’ve ever had. (And we travel a lot!) She took us all through the beach and dune areas then downtown Hague to see the historical city sights. We learned a bunch and had a great time. We’re hoping to do another tour with her someday. Tip: If traveling with children, try to arrive early. It took awhile to find a bike that worked for everyone. (However, if you arrive late, like we did, Vera is quite understanding.)

Fietstour Scheveningen DenHaag Afgelopen weekend met onze vriendengroep een rondje Scheveningen Den Haag gefietst met Vera als gids. Een echte aanrader. Ze paste de tocht aan aan onze wensen en wist veel te vertellen. Vera bedankt voor de leuke middag.

Bike ride exploring The Hague We biked with Vera on a private tour our first day in the Netherlands. No tulips since it is September but the countryside and ocean were still pretty. We were a group of 7 including my 5 kids ages 11-19. We saw the countryside and city center on our ride. We even stopped for a short break for traditional pie or pancakes as though we were locals. Vera is warm and friendly and so knowledgeable about her country and the area she has lived in her entire life. She was great with our kids and shared her excitement for The Hague. We learned so much and loved our time with her. You won’t regret spending a few hours with wonderful Vera! She even gifted us little matching backpacks.

Cycling through the tulip fields We loved our recent cycling adventure from Leiden to the Keukenhof tulip gardens. Vera is an awesome tour guide and we can't wait to join her for another cycling adventure.

Brilliant tour This was a bike tour of the tulip fields around Keukenhof. There were 7 people on the tour, which was a good number (I was by myself, and Vera kindly integrated me into this tour, which made it a good way for a single person to have a fun cycle). Vera is delightful, and she had thought out and organised the tour well. She was very kind with my mobility restrictions. She took us around the tulip fields, including to a beautifully perfumed hyacinth field, then to a bulb farm where an interesting and informative film was shown (coffees, waffles and apple cake were also avaiable for purchase if you wished), then through a charming small Dutch town. The bikes were in good order, and easy to ride. Highly recommended.

Great Trip - Great Host - Great flowers We visited in early April, the tulips were only just waking up, however we saw many other beautiful flowers. Our host was informative and enthusiastic and guided us to a few locations off the beaten track and it was a luxury not to have to map out the route. You are in a group, so if you want to whizz around I’d suggest going alone but if you want to be in a group, ask questions, stop and speak to real growers / farmers then this is the tour for you. Also stopped at a picturesque spot for a tea and to soak in the colours and smells. A lovely tour, great host and superb flowers.

Great tour with enthusiastic guide My family went on a private bike ride with Vera through the tulip fields around Keukenhof. We have been on many tours over the years and have never encountered someone as passionate about showing us around her country as Vera. She was welcoming and happy from the minute we met her, and we had a great morning biking around the area. If we were here longer I would try to book another tour with Vera for another experience, since I know she has many ideas and will modify her route to give you the best day. Highly highly highly recommend!! Thank you so much Vera for a wonderful day in the tulips!

Fun bike tour of the tulips! Vera’s bike tour was a great way to see the tulips fields and a nice break from the Keukenhof park. The route was easy and safe and the guide was funny and informative. She helped make my birthday a special day -thank you Vera!
