Bike tour The Hague sea & the city
From: €37,50 p.p.
Min. participants: 4
Duration: 3 hours
From city highlights to Hague beach resort, royal forest & nature
There are gossips at the parliament, the King is in love and at the border of sea & city something terrible happens. Facts & fiction get mixed in the 3 hour family friendly Hague bike ride.
The name The Hague, Den Haag comes from ‘s Gravenhage, the hedge of the count. The story goes that the count who built the base of the Houses of Parliament, fell in love with the woods around The Hague.
Cycling from sea to the city Hague
In the bike ride from the city to The Hague beach we see royal romance in the palace garden, wave at ministers, the Dutch King & Queen in the Binnenhof, take a picture of The Hague’s most photographed building; the UN Peace Palace and go for a scenic century-old cycle path to the The Hague beaches.
Peace & Dutch royalty
Then the bike tour The Hague sea & the city goes back through the peaceful dunes, lush green parks and forests of The Hague for a stop at another royal palace where you hear what is the link between peace & the royal family.

- How safe is the cycling route?
Roads are flat and although we do share roads with cars, cycling in the surroundings of The Hague is comfortable. Especially when we get into the nature area. The route is bike-friendly. As Hague city centre can be a bit busy, the cycling tour starts at the beachside. This way you can get used to your bike and cycling in the Netherlands. Besides, I keep an eye on you and the traffic and make sure you’re safe.
