Tour Leiden lake & windmills by bike
Starting at: €37.50 p.p.
Min. participants: 4
Duration: 3 hours
windmills, lakes, castle & café with a view.
In this bike tour Leiden lake & windmills you’ll be amazed about the tranquility and lovely sights just outside of Leiden city centre
Tranquility within 15 minutes
“Where are we heading to?” – a participant asks me. I like to keep our destination a bit of a surprise. I don’t have to really, because within 15 minutes cycling you see faces light up. The Dutch countryside has that effect on people. It’s such a relaxed ride that even those who are not much into cycling get comfortable & enjoy the view
The windmill series
This Leiden cycling route could also be called: the windmill series. Different types of windmills, some hidden from sight, are waiting for you to be discovered.
And on request, our destination can be a windmill that has pumped up water and created more land for the Leiden locals to live on.
The Leiden lakes & castle
Following the windmill series we hit the Leiden lakes. A lovely location to have a drink with a view. Another stop is at the Leiden castle, which is also a great place to have business dinner or drinks. The location is full of history, connected to Leiden city centre.
And before you know it, we’re back at our starting point at the backside of Leiden train station. Hope you enjoyed the bike tour Leiden lake & windmills. See you again on 1 of my other tours or events!
