Holland cheese: Leiden or Gouda
Leiden area has a great amount of dairy & cheese farms. They all produce different types of cheese. The cheese is very different from the Gouda cheese. And there is even a goat cheese maker!
Best Ice cream or apple pie in Leiden area
I love this cycling tour as it has so many great sights and is full of history. Windmills, canals, polders. And let me tell you about the watermanagement of the Dutch in the 16th century! All these wonderful sights & stories make you hungry. Fortunately there are a great deal of local cafés where we stop to taste the best ice cream or apple pie in Leiden area.
