Start cycling tour: Gouda market square

On the Gouda market square, in season,  you see a carpet of Gouda cheeses. You hear the Gouda cheese farmers promoting their cheeses, taste from a round golden Gouda cheese and see the traditional way of negotiating between a cheese farmer and a buyer.

A scenic route to Gouda cheese farms

From the Gouda cheese market it’s a short walk through the historical city centre to the rental bikes. In a blink of the eye we’re outside of the centre and cycling through the Dutch countryside. The scenic cycle route takes us past mills, canals, green meadows and of course Gouda cheese farms. Depending on the distance you want to cycle, we visit one or multiple cheese farms.
